Terms of Use
Rule Number 1: Link BackIt is common courtesy to link to a site when you have used their resources. Every license or purchase certificate image MUST link back to http://www.doodlebugpixels.com.
Rule Number 2: Do Not Redistribute
Any graphics that you take from my website (from either purchaseware or the member area) are for personal use. They are personal resources to make graphics, they are not to be redistributed. Nothing should ever be redistributed as-is.
Rule Number 3: Do Not Steal
When you purchase graphics or resources from my purchaseware or take them from my member area, you may only use them in your own creations. The graphics and the copyright for these graphics still belongs to me. Do not claim ownership of them.
Membership Terms
1. Do not share your login information with anyone else. If someone else is found logging in on your account, your membership will be terminated.
2. You are not required to have a website to join or purchase from DBP. If you are joining the member area, please just include "No Website" in the website field :)
3. Your members logo must be shown on your members page within 7 days of receiving it. It must be linked to http://www.doodlebugpixels.com. Member logos are to be picked up from the member logos page within the member area - please allow 48 hours for me to get it up there.
4. If your membership has expired and you are still using my graphics, your Doodlebug member logo must remain on your website.
5. You forfeit the right to a refund upon your first login.
6. If you have a member area of your own, I do not require access to it. However, if I suspect that my terms aren't being met, I reserve the right to request access.
7. Tube licenses are lifetime. You are required to have an active membership subscription to tube my outlines (i.e. you cannot continue to tube any outlines you have saved on your computer after your membership has expired), but you do not have to purchase a new tube license every time you renew.
Outline Terms
1. None of my outlines are to be shared in snag groups or sharing groups unless you have my specific permission. This means newsgroups, MSN groups or Yahoo groups.
2. You may not redistribute my outlines. You may redistribute the finished graphic you made from my outline (if you give proper credit to me) but you may not offer the unfinished outline on your website. The only exception to this rule is if I have sold you an as-is outline pack.
3. You may make finished graphics, sigtags, premades, websets etc. with my outlines for personal use, redistribution or for sale.
4. You may not tube your results from my outlines unless you have purchased a members area tube license, or a tube license for that outline pack (if purchasewhere).
5. You may alter the outlines slightly so that they fit with whatever you're trying to do with them, but this does not make them your creation. They are still my outlines and are still bound by my terms. You may not resize or make significant alterations.
6. You cannot make tutorials with my outlines. If you want to make a tutorial with them, please ask me. I am a reasonable person, just don't do it without permission.
7. If you have bought from my purchaseware, you must display your purchase certificate on every page that my outlines appear. Not only does this ensure that you have given me proper credit, it shows that you have not stolen them.
Tube Terms
1. You may not sell my tubes or offer them on your website! They are for personal use ONLY!
2. You may make profit from graphics you make with my tubes, but you have to ADD things to it. You cannot just add a name to it or use it as it is. Add a scene or other images to it first!
3. Unless I have specifically given permission, you are not to recolour, resize or otherwise edit tubes.
4. You cannot make line art from my tubes.
5. If selling tubes that you have made from my outlines (if you have a tube license), or selling/distributing graphics that you have made with my own tubes, you must display your purchase certificate, tube license or member logo on every page that my tubes appear. Not only does this ensure that you have given me proper credit, it shows that you have not stolen them.
6. Tubes are not to be used in dollmakers.
Siggie Terms
1. Sig tags are a once-off purchase. You get one sigtag with the name you specified. You are not to create more using the original sigtag. If you want another one, request another one. Don't make one on your own.
2. Sig tags are not to be disassembled. They are given to you whole and are to remain whole. You are not to cut out parts of them to use in your own graphics.
3. You may not redistribute sig tags. They are for personal use only. You may request a sigtag for a friend if it is a gift, but please specify this when ordering so that I know that you aren't reselling them. Any gifted sigtags must be linked back to http://www.doodlebugpixels.com.
4. You cannot make outlines from my sig tags.
5. Sig tags are sold as-is. You are not to recolour, resize, or otherwise edit them.
6. You may request four sigtags per week, requested Monday-Friday. Siggie orders are filled and sent out on weekends.
Base Terms
1. Bases are never to be distributed naked. You must dress the base. Under no circumstances should you use a naked base or a base wearing only underwear. They should be fully dressed.
2. If you hold a tube license you may tube dressed bases. You may never tube naked or underwear-only bases even if you have a tube license. Bases must be fully dressed.
3. Bases are not to be used in dollmakers unless you have specific permission.
4. Outlines for bases are not to be tubed unless you hold a tube license. If you do hold a tube license, please be original and don't copy my coloured versions.
As-Is Outline Terms
1. An "as-is" license allows you to share uncoloured outlines in your password protected member area for your members to use.
2. As-is licenses are offered only on certain outline packs in my purchaseware, or with custom work. As-is licenses are applicable to the outline pack they are purchased for - they do not extend to other outlines on the site.
3. An as-is license does not give you the right to resell or redistribute the uncoloured lines. They are for use by YOU on YOUR SITE only.
4. If a member holds a tube license at your site, they are able to tube the as-is outlines. However, my outlines don't fall under the umbrella of your as-is licenses (if you offer them) - i.e. if someone has an as-is license to your member area, they are not allowed to use my outlines as-is.
5. As-is outlines and custom outlines are offered as they are. You are not allowed to edit the outlines in any way.
6. You are not allowed to create additional poses for as-is outlines or custom work.
7. You have permission to create additional accessories for as-is and custom outlines. However, they must be clearly marked as your OWN additions.
